Techo International Airport (KTI) Traveler Guide
Flying into Phnom Penh? You will land at the new airport (KTI). Here is everything you need to know about getting to the city, costs, and travel time.
The Old Airport (PNH) is Closed
Please do not go to the old airport inside the city. All commercial flights now arrive at Techo International (KTI), located 45-60 minutes south of the city.
What to Expect Inside
The new terminal is large, modern, and easy to navigate.
Getting from KTI Airport to the City
You have three main choices. Most travelers choose the App (Grab) because it is easy and the price is fixed.
3 Simple Steps on Arrival
Get Your Visa
Head to the “Visa on Arrival” counter. It costs $30 USD. Make sure your bills are new and crisp. If you have an e-Visa, you can skip this line.
Buy a SIM Card
Don’t leave the airport without internet! Smart and Cellcard have booths right after baggage claim. A $5 package is enough for your trip.
Get Cash (USD)
Use the ATMs in the arrival hall. You can withdraw US Dollars. We suggest taking out $50 in smaller notes for easy spending.
